Welcome to Spettgrade ApS ("Spettgrade," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (spettgrade.com) and services related to Denmark excursions and tours.
By accessing our website, booking our services, or participating in our excursions, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Services Description
Spettgrade provides guided excursions and cultural experiences in Denmark, including but not limited to:
- Walking tours in Copenhagen and other Danish cities
- Castle and heritage site visits
- Viking heritage tours
- Cultural immersion experiences
- Custom group tours and private experiences
All tour descriptions, itineraries, and inclusions are provided for general information purposes and may be subject to change due to weather conditions, site availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
4. Booking and Payment
4.1 Booking Process
- Bookings can be made through our website, email, or phone
- All bookings are subject to availability
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us
- We reserve the right to decline any booking at our sole discretion
4.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking for tours under €200 per person
- For tours over €200 per person, a 50% deposit is required with the balance due 14 days before the tour date
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other approved payment methods
- All prices are in Euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable
- Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers
4.3 Group Bookings
- Groups of 8 or more people may be eligible for special rates
- Group bookings require a signed contract and different payment terms may apply
- Group leaders are responsible for all participants in their booking
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 7 days before tour: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
- 3-7 days before tour: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days before tour: No refund
- No-show: No refund
5.2 Spettgrade Cancellations
- We may cancel tours due to insufficient bookings (minimum 2 participants required)
- We may cancel due to extreme weather conditions or safety concerns
- In case of our cancellation, you will receive a full refund or alternative tour date
- We are not responsible for additional costs such as accommodation or travel expenses
5.3 Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of cancellation
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method
- Bank transfer fees, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount
6. Tour Participation Requirements
6.1 Age Requirements
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Some tours may have specific age restrictions for safety reasons
- Adult pricing applies to participants 16 years and older
6.2 Physical Requirements
- Most tours involve walking on uneven surfaces and stairs
- Participants should have a moderate level of fitness
- Please inform us of any mobility issues or special requirements when booking
- We will make reasonable accommodations where possible
6.3 Health and Safety
- Participants join tours at their own risk
- Please inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your participation
- You must follow all safety instructions provided by our guides
- Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused service
7. Conduct and Behavior
All participants are expected to:
- Treat guides, other participants, and local communities with respect
- Follow local laws and customs
- Arrive punctually at designated meeting points
- Not engage in disruptive or inappropriate behavior
- Respect historical sites and natural environments
We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these conduct standards without refund.
8. Liability and Insurance
8.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spettgrade's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific tour in question. We are not liable for:
- Personal injury or death not caused by our negligence
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Travel delays or cancellations by third-party providers
- Actions of other tour participants
8.2 Travel Insurance
- We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance
- Insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings
- Spettgrade is not responsible for costs that could be covered by insurance
8.3 Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, terrorism, or pandemics.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission
- Photography and filming during tours is generally permitted for personal use
- Commercial use of any content requires prior written consent
- Some locations may have restrictions on photography

- Please inform your guide immediately during the tour if possible
- Submit written complaints within 30 days of the tour date
- Include booking details, tour date, and specific concerns
- We will investigate and respond within 14 business days
12.2 Dispute Resolution
- We will attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation
- If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to Danish law
- Legal proceedings must be brought in Danish courts
- Consumers may also contact the Danish Consumer Ombudsman
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Danish law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Danish courts.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also have rights under the applicable consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
